Lauren Race is an accessibility researcher and fellow at the NYU Ability Project, an interdisciplinary research space dedicated to the intersection of technology and accessibility. Her research focuses on designing and evaluating accessible and inclusive educational tools for learners with disabilities. Her process combines iterative and co-design methods, accessibility compliance, and her design foundation of art direction and concept development. She holds a BFA in Communications Design with a minor in Art History from Pratt Institute and a master’s from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP).
