The virtual reality and real-time 3D technology in addition to many other display technologies are getting more and more into our life nowadays. The use of immersive virtual reality (VR) systems in heritage can allow users visiting inaccessible sites, as well as they can allow both greater richness and diversity in content.

This paper presents the case study of an interactive VR application "Virtual Museum of Tutankhamun" using VR headset display, the paper presents an overview of Virtual reality in heritage and explores the classification of VR display systems, based on their features in terms of interaction and immersion.
