Enid Conway
Artistic Director/Producer
I am founding Artistic Director of Bloomers, an arts organisation based in Ireland that delivers an annually printed publication, Bloomers Magazine, as well as related screenings, talks, events, zine making workshops, zine library and craft fair. I am also a Media Producer for Grand Union Orchestra, a registered charity based in east London.
I have just completed an MA in Goldsmiths University London in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy, focusing specifically on fundraising, partnerships and development. My MA dissertation discusses artificial intelligence policy, digitisation in museums, the digital user, the post human museum, cyborgian theory, semantic digital archives, the semantic web and museums as a site of knowledge production.
To coincide with this, I oversaw the production of Issue 06 of Bloomers Magazine : 'Hypertext', which is a collection of visual art and text by emerging artists based in Ireland and the UK that describes our acceleration toward the digital sphere and the porous boundary between technology and the organism - due for release this Winter.
