I'm the editor of Perspectives on History. She joined the AHA after serving as a Mellon/ACLS Public Fellow at the Science History Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and working as a guest curator for the National Library of Medicine's Exhibition Program. I earned a PhD in American Studies and an MA in Public Humanities from Brown University. Her general research interests include nineteenth-century public health and medicine, the material culture of medicine, and representations of patient experience.
